Jamshedpur, Feb. 22: A One Day Seminar on �Basics Of Industrial Hydraulics (for Maintenance Supervisors and Field Engineers)� was organized at The Institution of Engineers (India) Jamshedpur Local Centre on Wednesday.
The seminar was attended by working engineers from different companies and educational institutes namely ISWP, Usha Martin Ltd., Tata Power, M/s. Auto Profiles Ltd., RSB Global and Al-Kabir Polytechnic etc.
The Seminar was inaugurated by V P Thakur, Chief , SSTG, Tata Steel, who in his inaugural address stressed on the importance of knowledge in maintaining Hydraulics systems at various plants. Hydraulic systems are used in all modern manufacturing units. They are backbone of state of the art equipment and machinery.
The seminar was conducted jointly by P D Mundhra, (Vice President (Operation), Tayo Rolls, Jamshedpur and N P Singh , GM ( Maintenance & Engineering) Tayo Rolls, Jamshedpur.
Both the faculty members had rich experience of theoretical knowledge , practical applications and field problems. The seminar was conducted in four session.
The Participants deeply predicated the contents and the way of communication used by the members of the faculty .
They expressed their keen desire to have many more such seminar to be organized by the Institution of Engineers , Jamshedpur Local Centre.
