Jamshedpur, Jan. 20: War widow Sona Devi, wife of deceased constable Jagdish Singh, breathed her last at Tata Main Hospital.
She was 72. Sona Devi�s husband Jagdish Singh fought the Second World War for Indian Army. Later Jagdish Singh joined Tata Steel. Significantly, Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jamshedpur Unit felicitated war widow Sona Devi two years back during the felicitation function.
During her last rites on Friday, several members of the Parishad were present and expressed grief. The funeral procession was attended by Sushil Kumar Singh, Abhay Kumar Singh, Varun Kumar, Avdhesh Kumar, Sudhir Kumar Ojha, Rajeev Ranjan, KM Singh, Utpal Kumar Sinha, Siddhnath Singh, Jitendra Singh, Kashinath Shah, Manoj Thakur, Braj Kishore Singh and others.
