Jamshedpur: On the fifth day of the seven day Bhagwat Katha being held at Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi, Acharya Rajendra Maharaj while deliberating on the episodes of Sri Giriraj Lila and Lord Krishna�s mischief including Makhan Chori (stealing butter) observed, �It is essential that human beings respect nature just like the Lord of nature Sri Krishna Who respected and preserved nature in the form of Giriraj Mountain.�
The Acharya said that consumerism was eating into religious values and people had forgotten to respect nature. His narration of Sri Krishna�s mischief of breaking the pot of butter for the sake of the Gopis was highlighted by a colourful display of the incident that left the huge crowd of devotees enraptured.

The hosts of today�s Ram Katha were Shyam Sunder Ringasia, Omprakash Ringasia, Vimal Ringasia, Balmukund Ringasia, and Rajesh Ringasia.

Wheelchair donated to Cheshire Home: The Purvi Singhbhum Zila Agrawal Sammelan president Santosh Agrawal, on the occasion of Sri Bhagwat Katha, presented a wheelchair through the grace of Acharya Rajendra Maharaj to Cheshire Home.
On May 3, Friday, the Bhagwat Katha proceedings will include Gopi Geet, Amar Geet and Sri Rukmani Vivah.
