Jadugora: Hul Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sidhu-Kanhu Memorial High School, Narwa Pahar, on Friday.
A programme was organized on the occasion to pay homage to the great martyrs of Jharkhand, Sidhu-Kanhu and Chand-Bhairav. Many children, teachers and local residents were present during the event.
The students and teachers paid floral tributes along with the guests. The chief guest of the occasion was Roreya Soren, local JMM leader, who spoke on the contributions of the revolutionaries.
Among those present on the occasion included Shankhi Murmu, Thakur Das Murmu, Subodh Munda, Jayati Munda, Asha Mahato, Murari Mohan Bhagat, Sushil Kumar Soren, Budhram Hembram and Joba Soren.
