Jamshedpur, Feb 18: In the coming days, multiple train services will remain cancelled. Several trains of South Eastern Railway have been cancelled and have been rescheduled following non-interlocking work for commissioning of fourth line connectivity at Brajrajnagar in Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway.
As per the information, the 08861 Gondia – Jharsuguda Special will remain cancelled from Gondia between February 18 to 26 while the return train 08862 Jharsuguda – Gondia Special will remain cancelled from Jharsuguda between February 19 and 27.
The 20822 Santragachi – Pune Express will remain cancelled from Santragachi on February 19 and 26 while the 20821 Pune – Santragachi- Express will remain cancelled from Pune on February 21 and 28.
The 12870 Howrah-Mumbai CSMT Express remained cancelled from Howrah on February 18 while 12869 Mumbai CSMT – Howrah Express will remain cancelled from Mumbai CSMT on February 20.
The 12767 Hazur Sahib Nanded- Santragachi Express will remain cancelled from Hazur Sahib Nanded on February 26 while the 12768 Santragachi – Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will remain cancelled from Santragachi on February 23.
Several trains were rescheduled as well. The 12222 Howrah-Pune Duronto Express has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 7.45 a.m. instead of 05.45 am on February 19, 24 and 26.
The 12262 Howrah-Mumbai CSMT Duronto Express has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 7.45 am instead of 5.45 am on February 18, 21, 22, 23 and 25.
Thus, passengers have been advised to check train status before commencing their rail journey.
The Tatanagar station assumes importance because it is located on the Howrah-Mumbai main route. Several important trains travel via Tatanagar, including the high-profile Rajdhani Express and Duronto Express. Before COVID-19, the station used to see a daily traffic of 90 mail, express and passenger trains, besides a footfall of more than 60,000 passengers.
