House rent defaulter gets help of BJP Mahila Morcha

Jamshedpur: A tenant family of Sakchi was helped by BJP Mahila Morcha members on Saturday in getting their belongings back from the possession of the landlord.

Sources said the woman, one Mamata Devi, was in stress after her belongings and documents were reportedly retained by her landlord, Rakesh Kumar, after she failed to pay the outstanding rent for the last two months.

Mamata told the landlord that her husband had suddenly left her and shifted elsewhere, as a result of which she could not pay the house rent.

When the landlord refused to let Mamata move to her relatives� place at Baridih with all her belongings, she sought the help of local BJP leaders.

Led by the state working committee member of BJP Mahila Morcha Preeti Sinha and Meera Sharma, the BJP leaders went to the landlord�s house and requested him to return the woman�s belongings.

The BJP leaders appealed to Kumar to see reason and show humanity towards the woman and her children. Kumar later agreed to release the seized belongings to the woman.
