Jamshedpur: Hotel Yashwee International will host a Bengali Food Festival on April 14 and 15, 2026, from 12 noon to 11 pm, offering guests an elaborate spread of traditional Bengali cuisine on the occasion of Poila Baisakh.
The festival will feature a wide range of dishes including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties such as Beguni, Dim’er Devil, Murgir Chop, Aloo Posto, Fish Kalia (Katla Maach), Kosa Mangsho, Murgir Jhol, Motorshuti Kachori, Bhapa Doi and more. Starter prices begin at Rs 200, with non-veg starters at Rs 250, veg main courses at Rs 300, and non-veg main courses at Rs 350.
The hotel will be decorated in Bengali cultural themes to create a festive ambience for guests. Traditional sweets and Bengali ‘misti’ will also be featured as part of the special menu.
Organisers Anup Kumar, Mutu Sinha, and Subhash Sona stated that the festival aime to give residents of Jamshedpur an authentic taste of Bengali culinary traditions in a celebratory atmosphere. They observed, “Bengalis are absolutely passionate about their food and at this Bengali Food Festival, you will be able to relish authentic cuisine made the traditional way.” (w/gsd)
