Jamshedpur, Aug 8: Five hotels in Jamshedpur have been converted into COVID Care Centres. Hotels Ginger, Sonnet, Sagar, Jiva and Ganga Regency were functioning as paid centres but with space crunch in designated hospitals these hotels have been taken over by the district administration to accommodate the surplus COVID positive patients for treatment. However, Tata Steel has taken over Hotels Ginger and Sonnet for its infected officers and employees whereas the general COVID infected people are being sent for cure to Hotels Sagar and Jiva. Hotel Ganga Regency has been kept in reserve.
