Jamshedpur, Dec 3: Carmel Junior College defeated DAV Patelnagar 5-0 in the opening match of the Carmel Invitational Football tournament played at Bal Vihar Ground in Sonari on Wednesday, December 3.
In other matches of the day KPS Kadma beat DAV NIT 1-0, St. Mary�s School trounced JPS by 2 goals to 1 while Church School crushed DBMS English School by 3-0.
Earlier during the inaugural function Gumpe Rime, Coach of Tata Football Academy was the chief guest on Day 1.
