Jamshedpur: In view of the upcoming Holi festival and the anticipated surge in passenger traffic, the South Eastern Railway has decided to operate a pair of Holi Special trains between Tatanagar and Katihar to facilitate convenient travel for passengers.
Train No. 08181 Tatanagar–Katihar Holi Special will depart from Tatanagar every Monday from March 2 to March 30 at 1:00 pm and will reach Katihar at 7:30 am the following day.
In the return direction, Train No. 08182 Katihar–Tatanagar Holi Special will leave Katihar every Tuesday from March 3 to March 31 at 10:30 am and will arrive at Tatanagar at 4:30 am the next day.
During its journey within the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction, the special train will halt at Chandil, Muri, and Bokaro Steel City, ensuring connectivity for passengers from key stations along the route.
The introduction of these special services is expected to ease the festive rush and provide a comfortable travel option for commuters during the Holi season.
