Holi Milan celebrated with enthusiasm at Jamshedpur Women’s University

Jamshedpur, March 13: Jamshedpur Women’s University, Bistupur Campus, celebrated Holi Milan with joy and enthusiasm on March 12, 2025. The vibrant event brought together students, faculty, and university officials to mark the festival of colors with cultural performances and heartfelt celebrations.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the Chief Guest and Vice Chancellor, Dr. Anjila Gupta. Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Kishwar Ara, addressed the gathering, extending her best wishes for Holi.

Under the guidance of Dr. Sanatan Deep, Head of the Sports and Cultural Department, and the Head of the Music Department, various cultural programs were presented. A captivating dance-drama based on Raasleela was performed by the students, followed by a melodious group song that enthralled the audience.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta described Holi as a festival symbolizing love, harmony, and unity. She encouraged everyone to eliminate negativity from their lives and embrace new beginnings with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

The students actively participated in the celebration, playing with colors and gulal, making the event even more lively and memorable.

Prominent attendees included Registrar Dr. Rajendra Jaiswal, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rama Subramaniam, Finance Officer Dr. Javed Ahmed, Lecturer Dr. Sudhir Sahu, CVC Dr. Anupurna Jha, Director (IQAC) Dr. Ratna Mitra, Coordinator Dr. Kamini Kumari, DO Salomi Kujur, and faculty members from various departments.
