Jamshedpur: Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur plant has declared a Holi holiday on Monday, March 25, as per a circular issued by Plant Head Ravindra Kulkarni. Additionally, the company has scheduled a one-day block closure on Tuesday, March 26, the second day of Holi, owing to decreased work orders.
During the block closure, employees will receive 50 percent of their salary while the remaining 50 percent will be deducted. Special orders will be issued to employees or officers called on duty, entitling them to one day off in return for their service.
This decision comes amidst a series of block closures, totaling five days in February and March, impacting employees’ salaries and work at Adityapur industrial area.
