Jamshedpur, Jan 18: The Finals of the �Hockey Tournament’ organized by Tata Steel for U/16 and Open Age Category on the occasion of Jai Pal Singh Munda Jayanti will be played on 20 and 21 January at Armoury Ground.
The Hockey Tournament was held at seven locations such as Jamshedpur, Simdega, Gulma, Khunti, Bandgaon, Manoharpur, Gomardih from January 3-18, 2014 in which 2000 players participated.
On Jan 20 final matches will be played while on Jan 21final matches & prize distribution ceremony will also be organized were Sunil Bhaskaran, Dy VP CS, Tata Steel and P N Singh, President, Tata Workers’ Union will be the Guest for the prize distribution programme.
Four Hockey Olympians, Sylvanus Dungung, Monohar Toppno, Ms. Savitri Purty, Ms. Bigan Soy along with the District Hockey Associations Presidents and secretaries from West Singhbhum, Simdega, Khunti, Gumla, will also grace the occasion with their presence.
