Jamshedpur: The annual Hindi elocution of Motilal Nehru Public School was organized on the school premises on Friday.
Students of different city schools participated in the event. A poem recitation session was organized for students of standard I to standard V. Most students recited the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The students also re-delivered the speech of Swami Vivekananda, Nelson Mandela and Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. The chief guest of the programme was RP Tyagi, president of Uttar Pradesh Sangh.
He asked the students to develop interest in Hindi. The judges included Dr PD Singh, Neera Nandwani and Mamata Ojha. A vote of thanks was proposed by Harshita Kumari. The principal Ashu Tiwary was also present on the occasion.
