Hill Top students display musical abilities at Music Fest

Jamshedpur, September 3: Hill Top School organized a two-day Music Fest on 2nd and 3rd September at the Multipurpose Hall of the school. The event comprised Eastern Vocal solo, Western Vocal solo and Instrumental categories.

Students displayed their talent during the fest which made the judges work tough. On first day of the fest on September 2 contest was held for the junior students.

In the Junior Eastern Vocal Solo (Category A)- Prapti Sarkar won the first prize followed by Shreya Mahanti. In the Junior Western Vocal Solo (Category A)- Swati Nandi was first while Arup Ghoshal won the second prize.

In Junior Instrumental Solo (Category A)- Aditya Tiwary was the winner Aditya Kumar Nag was the runner-up. In the Junior Instrumental Solo (Category B)- Saksham Jha was first while Sparsh was second. In the Junior Instrumental Solo (Category C)- Aditya Singh won the first prize Sourav Choudhury was second.

The events on 2nd September were judged by Salil Tirkey, Sutapa Duta and Shekhar.

Day 2 of the fest started with Senior Western Vocal Solo (Category A) were Mondrita Chatterjee was first followed by P.V. Sai Sharanya. In Senior Western Vocal Solo (Category B)- Pratham Naman wo the first prize while Anushka Gope was second.

In Eastern Vocal (Solo) (Category A)-P.V. Sai Sharanya came first while Mondrita Chatterjee came second. In Eastern Vocal (Solo) (Category B)- Adrish Majumdar was the winner while Anushka Gope was the runner-up.

In the Eastern Vocal (Solo) (Category C)- Ayati Mishra was first followed by Pratham Naman. The second day events were judged by Parmindar Singh, Puja Tiwari and Bapi Mitra.
