Hill Top School wins Best Delegate Award at IIMUN Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan. 8: Hill Top School in collaboration with IIMUN organized Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) Jamshedpur Chapter 2017.

The two-day event which kicked off on Saturday concluded on Sunday. 120 delegates from various schools of Jamshedpur participated in the event. IIMUN is the simulation of the processes of UNO in order to train students to become diplomats of the future.

Several committees were formed and discussions were held based on given topics.

In United Nations Security Council the topic given was �Threats and Challenges to Global Peace due to Cyber War�. In Disarmament and International Security Council (DISEC) the topic was �Global Nuclear Disarmament�. In LokSabha the topic was �Implementation of the Demonetisation Plan to Curb Parallel Money�. In International Press (IP) the committee covered the entire event.

Later in the day the results of Hill Top School Indian International Model United Nations Jamshedpur Chapter 2017 were also declared.

In Committee 1: United Nations Security Council (UNSC)- Best Delegates (Gold) was awarded to Jhanvi and Arihant Kumar representing Brazil.

The High Commendation (Silver) went to Yash raj Tiwary and Aayush representing USA. The Special Mention (Bronze) was awarded to DebarpitaRakshitand StitiPragnyaPadhy representing Pakistan.

The Committee 2: Disarmament and International Security Council (DISEC)-Best Delegates (Gold) was awarded to Abhishek Kumar representing Congo. High Commendation (Silver) went to Ambuj Mishra representing USA while Special Mention (Bronze) was awarded to Shanu Kumar representing China.

The Committee 3:LokSabha- Best Delegates (Gold) was awarded to Smriti Prakash, High Commendation (Silver) went to Nishant Singh while Special Mention (Bronze) was awarded to Shruti Mishra.

In Committee 4: International Press (IP)-Best Reporter was awarded to Tejas Mishra while Anjali Seshadri won the Best Photographer award. Best Delegation went to Hill Top School.
