Jamshedpur: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has sent a second reminder to the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar in connection with the case of alleged encroachment into the quota of BPL and under-privileged children for admission in Nursery classes of Hilltop School. It has sought action taken report from the DC within 10 days, sources said.
The case dates back to April 20 when district BJP spokesperson Ankit Anand had raised the alleged admission of non-deserving candidates in the said school under BPL quota.
Anand had complained to the district administration and the state education department higher-ups, seeking action against the school. He alleged that the former DSE Banke Bihari Singh had tried to favour the private schools accused of admitting non-BPL students against reserved seats.
