Jamshedpur, August 28: Hill Top School has achieved a historic win by securing the Overall Championship title at the COFAS 2024 International Computer Olympiad. The prestigious event, held from August 24th to 26th, saw top schools from eight countries showcase their talent, skill, and sportsmanship in various competitive categories.
Hill Top School’s team emerged as the overall champions, while JB Academy, Ayodhya, secured the runner-up position.
The four-day COFAS-2024, organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar (First Campus) Lucknow, concluded with a grand ceremony at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium. Themed “Cognitive Computing – Minds and Machines,” the event featured a vibrant prize distribution and cultural programs.

This victory underscores the dedication and hard work of Hill Top School’s students, teachers, and staff. The students excelled across multiple events, bringing honor to their institution with their impressive performances.
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements,” said Mrs. Uma Tiwary, Principal of Hill Top School. Her words reflect the collective pride and joy of the entire school community.
Winning students from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and various Indian states were awarded shields, medals, and certificates.
CMS Rajendra Nagar Principal Jayashree Krishnan thanked the participants and invited them to future Olympiads. CMS Founder Dr. Bharti Gandhi encouraged students to become global citizens and embrace advanced technologies. Cognitive computing, a key focus of this year’s theme, enhances students’ problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills, preparing them for future careers in a technology-driven world.
