Hill Top School hosts Computer Fest 2016

Jamshedpur, Aug. 6: Hill Top School organized Computer Fest 2016 for Classes 5 to 12. The fest was organized to encourage the young ignited minds of the school to different types of technology and to the vast field of Computer Science.

The fest comprised Createk (MS Paint) to promote innovative and creative areas in computer science, poster making (Photoshop), presentation making (MS-PPT), movie making and Softtek (Basic Programming and Java programming) and quiz.

Students vie their brains in events on its platter. The school authorities informed that the contest is aimed at developing all-round personality of a child and comprises activities such as weaving creativity, application of memory skills.

The contests had students unraveling and spotting the software bug in erroneous computer programs. There was intense competition in the quiz contest where question were posed to the participants from different areas.

Principal Punneta Chouhan said that students to project teamwork, creativity and managerial skills. She said that the fest is platform to help students display their talents and promote IT related activities among them.

She said that the events have been played in a way to test the creativity and scientific temper of the young scientists.

Chouhan went on to add that with a vision to make learning more effective through activity based pedagogy, setting up exhibits and providing innovative teaching and educational aids the fest has been organized.
