Hemant Soren asserts: Election outcomes in three states won’t impact Jharkhand

Giridih: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed confidence that the election results in three states will not bear any influence on the political landscape in Jharkhand. While addressing journalists in Giridih, he remarked that similar situations have arisen in the past without noticeable repercussions. Soren emphasized that outcomes are determined by the diligence and efforts put forth, stating that results align with the hard work invested.
Responding to queries from reporters, the Chief Minister acknowledged the freedom of speech enjoyed by everyone and remarked that the world observes the decisions made by the public. Regarding his attendance at India’s meeting, Soren mentioned his current busy schedule and expressed uncertainty, mentioning that he had discussed the matter with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, emphasizing the absence of disputes.
During his interactions in Giridih, Chief Minister Soren informed the public about the progress in establishing a university in Giridih. He mentioned that discussions and proposals have advanced, indicating the possibility of Giridih soon having its own university. A proposal for Sir JC Bose University in Giridih has been submitted, with 75 acres of identified land for the purpose.
Several local issues were raised during the Chief Minister’s visit, with JMM District President Sanjay Singh advocating for the renaming of Giridih Jhanda Maidan to JC Bose Jhanda Maidan and its development. Pramila Mehra of JMM Mahila Morcha requested the naming of Giridih College turn as Savitri Bai Phule Chowk. Additionally, JMM District General Secretary Saeed Akhtar presented a memorandum to the Chief Minister supporting eight-point demands, including the reinstatement of teachers in non-government aided madrassas, compliance with High Court orders by the Urban Development Department, compensation for victims of mob lynching, and examinations for Madrasa Alim and Fazil under the University’s purview, among others.
