Jamshedpur, August 26: Health Minister Banna Gupta has directed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to expedite the investigation into the recent theft at the residence of Dr. Manisha Pandey at Mandir Path in Bhatia Basti. The Minister visited Dr. Pandey’s home on Monday to gather detailed information about the incident.
Dr. Manisha Pandey informed the Minister that her husband, Ajay Kumar, who worked in sales and was often out of town, discovered the theft. Jewelry and cash totaling approximately Rs 30,000 were kept in a cupboard. Upon opening the cupboard, they found that the jewelry and cash were missing. A complaint had been lodged in Kadma police station, with Dr. Pandey expressing suspicion on their maid.
