Ranchi, Apr 17: State health minister Banna Gupta on Saturday took first dose of vaccination for Covid at RIMS Hospital in Ranchi and also inspected facilities at the hospital including multi-parking building, .
The minister directed that all the floors of the hospital should have 100-bed oxygen attached beds for Covid patients and 300 normal beds. He also took information about bed availability at RIMS, vaccination status and others issues.
Speaking to media, Banna Gupta said that he had come to increase morale of staff at RIMS as their service is essential in fight against Covid in the state.
The minister was accompanied by Ranchi deputy commissioner, Chhavi Ranjan, RIMS additional director P Waghmare, RIMS superintendent Dr Vivek Kashyap, Dr Prabhat Kumar , Dr Nishit Ekka and others.
