Jamshedpur: A health checkup camp was organized by Jharkhandwasi Vikas Samiti (JVS) at the Community development Centre in Old Sonari. The camp was organized in memory of former parliamentarian late Sunil Mahto and on the occasion of Founder�s Day celebrations.
Eyes, blood pressure, diabetes levels, teeth were checked and ECG conducted for 150 persons who attended the camp. Necessary medicines were distributed free of cost to patients with ailments diagnosed at the health camp.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by social worker Astik Mahto and JMM central committee general secretary Mohan Karmakar. Among the honoured guests present on the occasion were JMM leader Raju Giri, the party�s Krida Manch official Manoj Yadav and Ritesh Albert.
The medics who conducted the camp were Dr AC Mandal, Dr Shambhu Dey, Dr Sunil Singh and Sister Rosy Tanisha. The organizing committee of JVS included president Manil Mahto, secretary Sunil Mahto, treasurer Vijay mahto, Pintu Rajak, Rajesh Mahto, Chandrika Sah, Devnath Mahto, Kailash Thakur, Vishnu Mahto, Chandan mahto, Suraj Singh, Rohit Lohra and Amit Singh.
