Health camp benefits 300 villagers

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Adivasi Motivation Initiative (JAMIN) in line with its commitment to help the masses in rural areas get good medical check-ups and access to free medicines, organised a free health check-up camp in Rangaon village near Tamar, Ranchi on October 7. Dr. Joy Bhaduri, Sitesh Das, Gouri Bhaduri and Deepa Das attended to nearly 300 villagers – men, women and children over a 5-hour period where they not only addressed the common ailments of people but also conducted free Hemoglobin and RBS Tests.

The prescribed medicines were distributed free of cost to all the villagers.
They were ably assisted in the venture by Monalisa Chakravarty and others. JAMIN members thanked the panchayat and elders of Rangaon village who supported in making the event successful.

JAMIN is the brainchild NGO started by Dr. Joy Bhaduri (Pediatrician) with a view to addressing the Medical, Physiological and Psychological health of the rural and tribal population of Jharkhand’s indigenous people.
