Jamshedpur, July 8: Due to ongoing developmental works in the Chakradharpur Division, South Eastern Railway has announced the cancellation, diversion and short termination/origination of several trains between July 14 and August 2, 2025. Passengers have been advised to check train schedules in advance to avoid inconvenience.

A total of eight trains will remain cancelled on specific dates. These include Train No. 18602/18601 Hatia-Tatanagar-Hatia Express, Train No. 12021/12022 Howrah-Barbil-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express and Train No. 18113/18114 Tatanagar-Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express. All three services will be cancelled on July 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and August 2. In addition, MEMU services such as 68003/68004 Tatanagar-Gua-Tatanagar will not operate on July 19, 26 and August 2. Similarly, the 68043/68044 Tatanagar-Rourkela-Tatanagar MEMU, 68086/68085 Barkakana-Tatanagar-Barkakana MEMU and 68055/68056 Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU will remain suspended on all six aforementioned dates. Train No. 68126/68125 Barbil-Tatanagar-Barbil MEMU will be cancelled on July 15, 22 and 29.

Several trains will also be diverted. Train No. 18477 Puri-Yog Nagari Rishikesh Utkal Express will run via Cuttack–Sambalpur City–Jharsuguda Road–Ib on July 18, 25 and August 1, while its return service, Train No. 18478, will be diverted via Ib–Jharsuguda Road–Sambalpur City–Cuttack on July 14, 21 and 28. Train No. 13287 Durg-Ara South Bihar Express will be diverted via Sini–Kandra (bypassing Tatanagar) on July 15, 22 and 29. Similarly, the return service 13288 Ara-Durg South Bihar Express will follow the Kandra–Sini route on July 18, 25 and August 1. The Howrah-Ranchi Intercity Express (Train No. 22891) will be rerouted via Kharagpur–Midnapore–Adra–Jamuniatand–Rajabera–Kotshila on July 19, 26 and August 2.

Short termination and origination of trains have also been planned. Train No. 13301/13302 Dhanbad-Tatanagar-Dhanbad Express will short-terminate and originate from Adra on July 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and August 2. The Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol Express (13512/13511) will short-terminate/originate at Purulia on July 15, 22 and 29. Train No. 12871/22861 Howrah-Titlagarh/Howrah-Kantabanji Ispat Express will terminate at Tatanagar and its counterpart 12872/22862 Titlagarh-Howrah/Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express will originate from Rourkela on July 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and August 2.
