Jamshedpur: Hata Chowk today witnessed a show of strength by JMM, AJSU Party and JD (U) as their respective candidates for the Assembly polls fray before seeking the blessings of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and proceeding to file their nomination forms for the Potka seat.
The first to reach the Hata Chowk was JD (U) candidate Ishwar Soren along with a posse of party members and supporters. He told the large gathering that even after so many years no degree college in Potka had been established. He said, �If the people give their verdict in favor of JD (U), fighting for the basic and fundamental rights would be my top priority.�

JMM candidate for the Potka Assembly constituency, Sanjiv Sardar arrived from Harina Mukteshwar Dham in a huge procession before filing his nomination for the Potka VS seat. He said that Potka remained under nourished in terms of development. �It will be my prime concern to complete the incomplete development projects left by former legislators,� Sardar assured the people of his electorate.
The last of the big time political party candidates to arrive was AJSU Party�s Potka VS seat candidate and Zila Parishad president Bulu Rani Singh. The first timer legislative candidate Bulu Rani urged the people stating, �I am a daughter of this very soil being born in Podahatu in Chakdih Panchayat. The people are still waiting for development work. My mother, Lakshmi Sardar and father Sailesh Sardar were concerned for the development of this area. I have entered the VS poll fray with this very thought in mind to ensure all round development of Potka and materialize their dreams of a happy and prosperous people of Potka.�
