Haryana police arrest two con men from Jamshedpur 

Jamshedpur, June 23: In a major breakthrough, the Haryana Police have successfully apprehended two con men operating in Jamshedpur. The arrest comes after a rigorous investigation and collaboration between the Haryana and Jharkhand police departments.

The con men, who had been targeting unsuspecting individuals in Haryana, were known for their deceptive tactics and financial scams. The Haryana Police had received multiple complaints from victims who had fallen prey to their fraudulent activities. Acting swiftly, a dedicated team was formed to track down and apprehend the culprits.

They were picked up by a team of Haryana police from their houses under Jugsalai police station area in the wee hours on Friday. Those who are in the police net for allegedly duping some Haryana-based businessmen of crores of rupees are identified as Mohammed Waheed and Fahim Khan.

The police have seized an unspecified amount of cash and jewellery from the houses of Waheed and Fahim located in Rahmatnagar and Machhli Mohalla in Jugsalai respectively.

City SP, K Vijay Shankar confirmed about the detention of two con men from the Jugsalai police station  area. The two are presently being interrogated by the Haryana police.

 Before raiding the houses of Waheed and Fahim, the Jugsalai police had cordoned off all the roads and lanes of the area so as to ensure that the accused may not escape.

After gathering crucial intelligence and conducting extensive surveillance, the operation by the Haryana police forces resulted in the arrest of the con men from a hideout in Jamshedpur. The coordinated efforts of the law enforcement agencies ensured the successful execution of the operation, minimizing the chances of the suspects evading capture.

According to police sources, the arrested individuals are believed to be part of a larger organized crime network involved in various financial scams and confidence tricks. They had been operating across multiple states, exploiting innocent people for their financial gain. The gang would target vulnerable individuals by promising them lucrative investment opportunities.

During the raid, the police seized substantial evidence, including forged documents, fake identities, and electronic devices that were used in their illegal activities. The recovered evidence will play a crucial role in building a strong case against the accused and ensuring their prosecution under the appropriate sections of the law.

The Haryana Police have commended the efforts of the investigating team and expressed gratitude to the Jharkhand Police for their cooperation in apprehending the criminals.
