Jamshedpur, Nov 14: The Jharkhand State Junior Boys Golf Championship, organized by the Indian Golf Union, concluded on Thursday at the Golmuri Golf Course in Jamshedpur. Young golfers from across the country showcased their skills over four days of competition.
Punjab’s Danish Verma delivered an impressive performance by winning both Group A and Group B overall titles. Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh, son of golfer Jeev Milkha Singh secured second place, while Karnataka’s Siddhant Nathan finished third in the combined standings.
In the individual group results for Group A, Harjai claimed the top position, followed by Siddhant Nathan in second place and Haryana’s Zorawar Singh Toor in third. In Group B, Danish stood first, S. Purendra of Delhi achieved second place, and Satwik Kumar Singh of Telangana finished third.
In Group C, A. Chaudhary emerged champion, with Siddhant Sharma taking second place and Krishnav Gupta of Delhi finishing third.
Tata Steel Sports Chief Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari, Farzan Heerjee, and former international golfer Alan Singh presented the prizes to the winners.
