Har Har Mahadev Sangh connects with devotees in Holy Month

Jamshedpur: Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh, a city-based philanthropic organisation, successfully hosted cultural soiree, featuring Manoj Tiwari and his troupe on the last Monday of holy month of shravan. Over 25,000 people witnessed the performance during the function at Sakchi Gurudwara ground.

Founder of the sangh, Amarpreet Singh Kale has been organsing the event on the last Monday (Antim Sombari) of the holy month. Under his aegis the management of the event has been hailed. The best of the event is that people from different religion and community participate in it.

Arjun Munda, the former Chief Minister who was the chief guest of the function also hailed the event. He said that the purpose of the programme is to promote peace and harmony.

Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh had been organising function on the last Monday of Shravan. Bhojpuri singer Bharat Sharma had performed at the grounds while noted bhajan singer Lakhbir Singh Lakkha had mesmerized the audience with his melodious voice in 2009. Popular Bhojpuri singers Manoj Tiwari, Kalpana Patwari and Devi had also staged performances here in the past.


Kale said that various social welfare activities are being carried out throughout the year and blanket distribution is equally most sought after initiative. The purpose of distributingblankets to the needy spreads the message of sympathy, love and sacrifices to the society.

Sharing his experience, Kale says, � Like every year this year too, the drive will be organised. We are happy to witness the overwhelming response. I have watched the drive become more successful each year as members of the sangh open their hearts to help both the homeless and those struggling to make ends meet.
