Jamshedpur, Sept 9: A campaign to repair defunct hand-pumps has been launched in Old Rakha Mines, Jadugora. The Mukhiya of Matigora panchayat, Kartik Hembram, said a list of all defunct hand-pumps has been sought from all villages. The hand-pumps would be repaired to ward off possibility of water scarcity in the villages, he said.
