Haldia: Haldia Refinery Corporate Social Responsibility organized an inaugural programme for four Toilet Blocks in two different schools under Tamluk and Nandakumar Block.
S.K.Kujur CM (Security), Haldia Refinery inaugurated two Toilet Blocks at Purbanakha Bd. Primary School and two Toilet Blocks at Saoraberia Jalpai High School in the auspicious presence of officials of Haldia Refinery.
S.K.Kujur, CM (Security) Haldia Refinery addressed the gathering at both locations and emphasized on water, sanitation and hygiene in schools that creates an enabling environment which secures children�s dignity, safety, health and attendance in classes. Children are more receptive and quick to adopt and sustain change. He said that development activities in schools such as study environment, health and sanitation, improvement in quality of education, supporting meritorious students and economically backward section has been taken up by CSR Committee of Haldia Refinery, IndianOil Corporation. He also interacted with school officials reflecting the importance of sanitation improvement in the school helping educating the children.
Kalyan Maity, Headmaster, Purbanakha Bd. Primary School welcomed the dignitaries, the teachers and the students and addressed the gathering and expressed her gratitude.
Susanta Mondal, Headmaster, Saoraberia Jalpai High School, reflected his views saying that the Haldia Refinery, IndianOil is bringing happiness for the society through its continuous support and addressed the gathering.
