Jamshedpur, Sept 1: Guru Gobind Singh High School, Telco, emerged as the overall champion in the Inter-School Cross Country Race organized by Tata Motors on August 31, 2025. The school put up an outstanding performance, winning trophies in three out of four categories – Senior Boys, Senior Girls, and Junior Boys.
The competition featured four categories: Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Junior Boys, and Junior Girls. Runners from Guru Gobind Singh High School dominated the track, continuing their strong legacy. Notably, the school has been winning the Senior Girls’ Cross Country trophy for the past three years. This year, they extended their success by adding Senior Boys and Junior Boys titles as well.
The athletes trained rigorously under the guidance of sports teacher Birendra Kumar Mishra. Their hard work and determination were evident in their victories. An atmosphere of joy prevailed among the students, who celebrated their achievement with enthusiasm.
School Principal Pushpa Pandey, General Secretary Santosh Singh, teachers, and the management committee congratulated the runners and the sports teacher for their remarkable effort. Mishra also praised the dedication of his students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports.
