Jamshedpur, Dec 9: Guru Gobind Singh High School, English Medium, Telco, has started its second Winter Sports Camp from December 9 to December 24, 2025. The event is being jointly organized by Maa Indravati Sports Academy and the school.
The camp was inaugurated by the school’s General Secretary, Santosh Singh, along with Principal Mrs. Pushpa Pandey. They motivated the young participants and emphasized that sports play a crucial role in overall development along with academics.
The camp is being supervised and conducted by the school’s sports teacher, Birendra Kumar Mishra (Rajveer Mishra). Children will be provided training in a wide range of sports including athletics, cricket, badminton, ball badminton, pickleball, kho-kho, handball, volleyball, and more.
General Secretary of the Jharkhand Pickleball Association, Prabhat Kumar, extended his support through a telephonic message and assured full cooperation for the promotion of pickleball in East Singhbhum.
There is great excitement among the students as they actively participate in various sports activities. The aim of the camp is to encourage physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among children.
