Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha district vice president Gurmukh Singh Mukhe today alleged that former Chief Minister Arjun Munda had done nothing for the Sikh community. He said the BJP leader had no right to seek votes of Sikh community members of the city.
Speaking to scribes on Tuesday, Mukhe said, �The former CM has no moral right to make appeals for vote before the Sikh community. He has not done anything on the basis of which he deserves the support of the people. The Sikh community should vote for Dr Ajoy Kumar who has done a lot for the city people.�
Mukhe said Dr Ajoy had raised the issue of Sikh Marriage Act in the Lok Sabha. No other MP from Jamshedpur has done this before, he said.
�Dr Ajoy has provided computers to minority schools of the city. He has helped minority schools a lot. This is why he deserves to be elected again as the MP of Jamshedpur,� said Mukhe.
Many JVM leaders were present during the press conference. They said the winning chances of Dr Ajoy were very high.
