Jamshedpur, March 30: Akshat Sarkar, a Class IX student of Gulmohur High School, has achieved an impressive milestone by securing 5th position in the Coding Challenge at Rhapsody 4.0, organised by the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
The competition was held in the Open Category and saw participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students representing premier institutions, including IITs, NITs, and reputed international universities. Akshat stood out as the only school-level participant, competing against highly experienced coders from across the country.

In the final rankings, Gulmohur High School secured the 5th position, while top spots were claimed by institutions such as MIT World Peace University and SRM Institute of Science and Technology. His achievement highlights exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a strong passion for coding at a young age.
School Principal Priti Sinha expressed pride in his accomplishment, stating that Akshat’s success reflects the spirit of curiosity, perseverance, and excellence encouraged at the school. She added that competing at such a high level and performing among top university students is truly commendable.
