Jamshedpur, April 23: Gulmohur High School, in collaboration with Recreation Club Telco, inaugurated its Lawn Tennis Club at the Recreation Club premises in Telco on April 23.
Subhashis Ghosh, General Manager of Engine Factory TATA Motors, Jamshedpur, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and inaugurated the club.
Speaking on the significance of lawn tennis, Ghosh emphasized its holistic benefits, ranging from physical fitness to mental resilience and social engagement.
He was pleased that Gulmohur is taking initiative to utilise the state of art facilities of Telco Colony for the overall well-being of its students.
The meticulously designed lawn tennis classes, tailored for students from classes 6 to 12, promise a blend of expert guidance and youthful exuberance.
Under the tutelage of trainers from Recreation Club, students are poised to embark on a journey of skill development, camaraderie, and personal growth.
The entire event was efficiently conducted under the guidance of sports teacher Ekbal Singh, Sangeeta Herenz and members of the Sports Committee.
