Guitar teacher commits suicide in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 22: A school guitar teacher by profession, K  Shekar Rao (45) committed suicide, allegedly due to economic hardship, by hanging from the ceiling of his room at Birsanagar Zone Number 2 on Sunday late night. 
According to sources he was a guitar teacher in Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) and Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya (VBCV) Telco and was tensed as he did not have a job for the last few days.
The deceased wife thought that K Shekar Rao might have gone to the roof to stroll and when she came to the roof to call her husband she saw him hanging using a cable wire from a pipe and after raising alarm managed to take him out with help of neighbours and rushed to MGM Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Family members said that for the last few days he had started drinking liquor to ease depression owing to economic hardship. 
He had also suffered financial problem due to treatment of his father Prabhakar Rao at Tata Motors Hospital where he had to manage to pay Rs 40,000. He was unable to pay school fees of his two children.
