Greencaps Jamshedpur celebrate World Animal Day

Jamshedpur, Oct. 5: Jharkhand Animal Welfare Society (JAWS) has joined hands with the Jamshedpur chapter of Greencaps India and Zomato feeding India to serve the homeless animals as well as the society. To commemorate World Animal Day on October 4, the society and the volunteers of Greencaps, Jamshedpur not only�cleaned the Dimna lake area, also educated the people not to litter. They also provided garbage bags to street food vendors around the area and urged citizens not to litter in the open space. Zomato Feeding India Jamshedpur has started Food for Paws programme for the stray animals of the Steel City as a part of their CSR activities. Zomato has been feeding people in Jamshedpur and nearby�areas by channelising the leftover food from restaurants. Infact they have set up fridges across the city for people to donate any kind of food that can be given to the needy.
