The programme began with an impressive March Past by the four houses — Green, Blue, Yellow and Red. Led by President Kashish Yadav, Vice President Kinjal Singh and Discipline Minister Sneha Biswas, the march reflected discipline and confidence.
The Olympic Torch was then lit, symbolising integrity and perseverance, after which Sports Minister Roshan Panda administered the Oath of Sportsmanship. Dr. Sunder officially declared the Sports Meet 2025–26 open, marking the start of a day full of excitement and competitive spirit.
This year’s theme, “STAR,” celebrated the unique talents of every child. A special balloon release, with star-themed balloons rising into the sky, represented students’ dreams and aspirations. The school band also impressed the audience with a Swastik formation, symbolising harmony and auspicious beginnings.
Students of Classes 1–3 and 4–6 presented energetic drill performances, followed by fun races and athletic events for students from Nursery to Grade 12. Over 150 students participated with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Green House emerged as the overall winner of the event, securing both the Best March Past Award and Best House Award. Blue House was named the Most Disciplined House. Roshan Panda was awarded Athlete of the Year (Boys), while Asmi Rohit won Athlete of the Year (Girls).
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Indrani Singh, Institutional Growth Strategist and Advisor, praised the students and staff and highlighted the importance of sports in holistic development.
