Ranchi: Grand welcome was accorded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, railway minister Suresh Prabhu and minister of state for railways Manoj Sinha at Ranchi Airport today.
Present on the occasion were Governor Syed Ahmed, former chief minister Arjun Munda, ministers Saryu Roy, CP Singh, Neelkanth Singh Munda, Neera Yadav, Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra and others senior members of BJP.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ranchi by an air force plane and thereafter left for Hazaribgh on a helicopter.
Governor Syed Ahmed and chief minister Raghubar Das also accompanied the PM. Narendra Modi inaugurated Hazaribagh-Koderma railway line and left for Delhi in the afternoon.
