Jamshedpur : Grand Parents’ day was celebrated on Saturday at SDSM School auditorium to share with an aura of cherished moments in the lives of grandparents.
Welcome speech was given by Sumit Kumar of Std.V-A. It was followed by a prayer song (Durga Stuti) and the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Gamharia Shyamali Virdi.
Children presented a group song based on how the Grandparents have brightened their lives and performed a dance in the form of drama with the theme of – ‘Importance of a Girl Child’.
The programme continued with an obeisance to Maa Durga. Some entertaining games such as riddles and pick & keep were organized for the grandparents. The programme ended with the vote of thanks along with Puja greetings.
