Ranchi, August 7: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the Govt. wishes to bring about expected change in the lives of tribal people so that the students don�t face any problem in getting higher education.
He said that the State Govt. doesn�t want to change the basic principles of CNT act. Keeping in view the problems of the tribal youths of the state, it was unanimously decided to form a TAC (tribal advisory committee) comprising retired tribal high level officers, experts of tribal land revenue & experts of tribal affairs within a few days who will submit their recommendations with proposal before the next meeting of TAC. The CM said it while presiding over tribal advisory committee in the conference hall of Project Building.
He said that the State Govt. is committed to develop skills of the tribal. Their development is related with their skill development. He expressed his concern over the condition of the tribal youths of the state which is due to lack of education & skills.
He said that the banks should grant them loan which is not followed properly due to CNT & SPT acts against their land or fixed assets. Hence this committee should discuss this aspect at large.
The Chief Minister invited all the members of TAC on9th August for the celebration of World Tribal Day at Ranchi & told them that this program will be celebrated at Dumka on 16th & Chaibasa on 30th August.
Welfare Minister Mrs. Louis Marandi said that steps could be taken only when the tribal community agrees on every point.
RDD Minister Mr. Nilkanth Singh Munda, MLAs Mr. Shivshankar Oroan, Mrs. Bimala Pradhan, Mrs. Gangotri Kujoor, Mr. Ram Kumar Pahan, Mr. Deepak Birua, Mr. Tala Marandi, Mrs. Joba Manjhi along with Mr. J. B. Tubid & Mr. Ratan Tirkey were present in the meeting .
Apart from this, Chief Secretary Mr. Rajiv Gauba, Principal Secretary, Finance Mr. Amit Khare, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary, Welfare Department Mr. Rajiv Arun Ekka, Secretary to CM Mr. Sunil Kumar Burnwal & Land Revenue Secretary Mr. K. K. Sone were also present in the meeting.
