Ranchi, Nov 29: Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the apke adhikar, apki sarkar, apke dwar—government at your doorstep outreach campaign—at Latehar on Monday.

Paying tributes to the statue of martyr Nilambar-Pitamber at Kone village in Tarwadih,  Latehar, chief minister addressing a function said that government is making efforts to ensure that last person in the society gets the benefit of government’s welfare schemes and the government has come at the doorstep of the people through the 45-day campaign till December 28 and aims at reaching out to even those people who live in difficult and inaccessible terrain.

Hemant Soren asked all the needy to take benefit of the camp and get linked with government welfare schemes.

Inaugurating a development fair  at the village, the Chief Minister said that the government would work to give identity to Jharkhand with the cooperation of the people of the state. The government is working towards speedy reforms in the earlier system. It will take some time. The government wants to give the people of the state the right to live with dignity. State officials should ensure that there is no deficiency in this.

The Chief Minister said that many villagers are dependent on forest produce. The government is going to prepare a strong system for this sector. A systematic model will be ready  so that the income of the people who depend on forest produce can be increased.

Hemant Soren said that the children of the state are victims of malnutrition and in order to remote this problem the government has decided to give eggs to government school children 6 days a week.

“But we have to order eggs from other states. There is also potential in this area. People here produce eggs by rearing poultry. The government will buy those eggs. We want to increase the income of the people,” said Soren.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister spoke to Nilambar-Pitamber’s great-grandson Ramanand Singh and descendants Komal Singh. The Chief Minister ordered the Deputy Commissioner Latehar to extend all possible help to the families of the brave martyrs and link them with government schemes.
