Congress leader Anand Bihari Dubey said the public protest against anti-encroachment drive had been started by the poor people.
He called upon the opposition parties to unite against the state government and support those rendered homeless or facing threat of becoming homeless. While supporting the PMAY project, he said the government should not implement the PMAY project by driving the poor people out of their houses.
Dubey was accompanied by many other Congress leaders including Rakesh Sahu, Munna Sharma, Vijay Khan, Babua Singh and former minister Dulal Bhuiyan.
