Talking about Mango water supply project, Saryu said, underground piped water work will start from January 8 while Rs 33 crore fund has been approved for the second phase while the total investment for the project is 123 crore (65 +25+33 crore).
Over 2 lakh beneficiaries would be benefited with 70 thousand household people. The whole work would take around a year to complete as only 75 per cent work has been done. This summer only 75 per cent of the population in Mango would be benefited from the water supply project, he added.

Jamshedpur based social worker, Jawaharlal Sharma had filed an application for the implementation of an elected municipal body in the year 2008 instead of the existing system.
If the people of the town are keen to accept Industrial township with Tata Steel as the civic guardian than it should be told to the apex court and settle the matter once and for all, said the minister.
When asked about Babulal Marandis phone tapping claims, Saryu Rai said Marandi ji is a responsible leader and government should take the charges seriously and probe the matter and Marandi should submit the proof of phone tapping.
