Jamshedpur: Members of city-based social organization Awesome India will be staging a demonstration before Jamshedpur Collectorate on 2nd April to protest riding levels of air pollution in Govindpur, especially due to dust. A memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Raghubar Das would be given to the Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar.
The outfit president Roshan Jha, in a press statement, said a signature campaign was launched to create public awareness on the issue. He said the residents of Govindpur were reeling under the pollution problem for the last two years. He said around 600 people had lent support to the agitation plan of the outfit.
Among those present during the signature campaign included Rakesh Sahu, Raju Gope, Neeraj Dubey, Ajay Sharma, Bhim Kumar and Shambhu Dubey.
