Jamshedpur: The 7th anniversary of Govindpur Passenger Halt was celebrated with fervour on Thursday. Members of Govindpur Station Nirman Samiti organized a function to celebrate the occasion. The function was presided over by the outfit president Shaldeo Shah.
The outfit members discussed various passenger and railway amenities issues during the function. They said the Govindpur Halt should be given the status of a railway station and express trains including Steel Express and Ispat Express should be given stoppage at Govindpur.
Others present on the occasion include Zila Parishad president Bulurani, Zila Parishad Rajkumar Singh, Sunita Sah, Sudipto Dey, Afzal Akhtar, Roshan Jha and Mohan Lal Agrawal.
