Jamshedpur, Aug 3: The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results on Tuesday (August 3) at 12 noon. Jamshedpur students performed well in the exam and came out with flying colours. Students of Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia achieved good marks and came out as winners in Class 10 result. Kahkasha Parween was declared the school topper with 98.6 % marks. She scored 493 marks out of 500. Saima Firdous scored 478 marks out of 500 and achieved 95.6 % marks to bag the second position in school. Sharandeep Singh of Mango Gurudwara Road was third topper in the school scoring 94.6 % marks. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal, Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia congratulated the students and wished them luck for future.

This year’s board examinations, originally scheduled to be held in May and June, were cancelled due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the marks were calculated on the basis of internal assessments, including unit tests, mid terms and pre board exams.

No toppers have been declared in the examination as the board decided not to issue any merit list or merit certificates this year.
