Govind Vidyalaya students shine in state championship

Jamshedpur, Sept. 13: Govind Vidyalaya students put up a brilliant performance in the 13th Jharkhand State senior Wushu Championship held in Dhanbad. Class 11 student of the school Nitish Srivastav bagged the third place in the championship. Another student of the school Rishi Kumar won the third place in the in the Sub Junior state level basketball championship held in Dhanbad from 7th to 10th September. Both the players thanked their coaches Gokul Chandra Mishra and Md. Jamshed for the performance. The students were accorded warm welcome on their arrival back. Principal of the school Dr. Sunita Sinha felicitated them by awarding medals.
