Govind Vidyalaya students exhibit talent at Kids Day

Jamshedpur, April 25: Govind Vidyalaya in Tamulia hosted several events on Saturday to welcome the parents of Nursery along with their wards.

Kid�s Day, Choral Recitation, Calligraphy & Slogan Competition were held on the occasion. �Kid�s Day� was celebrated in the Primary School premises. A beautiful cultural show was hosted by the primary wing students to mark the day were the little children presented a welcome song, a dance & Meloenactment followed by a Choral Recitation Competition.

The function was graced by the Managing Director of the school Dr. B.D. Sharma who thanked the parents for their overwhelming support and cooperation. The entire show was coordinated by Junior Wing Incharge Mrs. Swapna Shome and anchored by Miss Puja Sinha & Mrs. R. Kalawati.

Calligraphy competition was organized for the students of Class VI to VIII under the incharge Mrs. Tilottma & Mrs. Neha of English Department.

Slogan writing competition was for Class IX to XII under the guidance of Mr. Irfan & Mrs. Debjani on the topics �Blood donation� & �School Safety �.

The winners of the event were Fatma Bano who secured first position in Choral recitation in group A while Taskeen & Kahkashan won the event in group B. Umaima Zainab was second in group A while Sneha Kumari, Jannat Ara, Sanobar Firdous, Shabnam Sajid & Sana Qamar was second in group B.

Faizan Durrani and Sania Perween were third in group A and B respectively. Shaista Sultan bagged the first position in Calligraphy contest, Onkar Simran was second, Alka Kumari and Anisha Shekhar were third. Tasneem Kausar won the Slogan contest, Sadia Afreen was second while Nidhi Sharma and Anupama were declared third.
